Verona, Florence, Cinque Terre & Elba

Arrive to Verona Airport or Milan Bergamo and meet your guide. You will then take your coach transfer and make your way to your hotel in Verona. On arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and dinner!

Enjoy breakfast before your coach picks you up from your hotel for a guided tour of Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Standing on the banks of the River Adige, Verona is a city rich in history, art and architecture. Your guided tour today will see you visit famous landmarks, including Piazza delle Erbe, the Arena, and Piazza dei Signori also known as Juliet’s house! You will have free time for some lunch before continuing to Montecatini Terme, where you will stay for the next four nights. This stunning spa town, famous for its thermal springs, is the embodiment of relaxation, thanks to its superior spa and idyllic surrounds! En route, you have some time to stop in Pisa, and wander around this bustling city, famous for its Leaning Tower.

After breakfast today, your coach will take you to Florence.The birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence is a city renowned for its history, iconic architecture and exquisite art, and today you will discover it with the help of a local guide. Feast your eyes upon the famous statue of Michelangelo's David. Visit the impressive Piazza del Duomo, home to the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, the symbol of the city. Experience the beautiful Piazza della Signoria, the historic political hub of the city. Walk across the Arno River on the famous medieval bridge Ponte Vecchio and after a leisurely day here, where you'll also get to enjoy some lunch in one of the many fantastic restaurants, you will be taken back to your hotel in Montecatini, by coach.

After breakfast, your coach will pick you up to continue your journey to La Spezia in Cinque Terre. You will take a boat with your guide to visit Portovenere and Vernazza, before continuing on to Cinque Terre’s largest village, Monterosso. Here, you will have time to grab some lunch! Afterwards, your guide will take you to the old centre of Monterosso, which boasts buildings dating back to medieval times and an inviting, old world charm. Later, hop on the train back to La Spezia and return to your hotel on coach.

After breakfast, we will board the coach once more for an excursion to the Tuscan countryside. We will visit the wine region of Chianti, passing through the delightful, medieval towns of Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, and Greve in Chianti. You will also get to enjoy some traditional Tuscan fare for lunch and a wine-tasting. This evening, you will return by coach to your hotel.

After breakfast, we will head, via coach, to Piombino, where we will board the ferry to Elba Island. Rich in history and glorious nature, this beautiful island boasts a uniquely secluded charm, which you will discover today on your guided tour. We will visit Napolean's residence, Villa dei Mulini, before continuing along a scenic route to Porto Azurro and its historical centre. You will stay on the island tonight, in the 3 star Hotel Marina, or similar.

Today, after breakfast, you will continue the coach tour of Elba island, visiting an array of beautiful spots along the way. Then it’s back to Porto Ferraio to catch the ferry. Next stop? Pisa or Versilia Coast, where we will stay for the night in either Pisa’s 4 star Hotel Tower Inn, or similar, or Versilia Coast’s 3 star Hotel Villa Tiziana, or similar.

After breakfast, hop on your transfer back to Pisa Airport to board your flight home.
