Topflight Travel Group was a relatively early service-sector adopter of Lean Management processes, which have enabled the company to achieve substantial improvements in efficiency and customer and employee satisfaction.
In roles ranging from hospitality, finance, operations, sales, marketing and software development, the company now employs over 80 staff in its offices in Dublin, Brighton and the French Alps all with Lean training and a further 150 seasonal staff overseas. The Topflight Travel Group's management team includes a Chief Lean Officer supporting two Continuous Improvement Managers in company's overseas locations.
We recently were very proud to have hosted a Lean Best Practice Visit for Enterprise Ireland client companies and also for the EU Japan Centre of industrial cooperation. Enterprise Ireland arrange a number of Best Practice Visits throughout the year as a way to demonstrate to Irish export companies how the application of Lean business principles can improve a company’s competitiveness on a global stage.
