A pretty resort at the north-west tip of the lake, Riva del Garda is a busy town retaining all of its old world charm and is a haven for water sports enthusiasts.
The old town with its 12th Century fortress features a maze of winding, cobbled lanes leading to a lovely harbour. The promenade is lined with colourful pizzerias and ice cream parlours, and there are lots of inviting shops and pavement cafés.
Thanks to the fresh breeze that blows through the area, Riva is also one of the top sites for watersports in Europe. Whether you are interested in surfing, sailing, jet-skiing, fishing or any other water-based activity, we have got an action-packed holiday for you!
For more cultural pursuits, check out the civic museum which showcases paintings and other exhibits by local and international artists, or head up the hillside to Bastione, a 16th Century tower which is now home to a museum and restaurant with panoramic views.
After a day of sightseeing or just soaking up the views, there is a great choice of lakeside bars and traditional restaurants where you can be sure of a relaxing evening with delicious food and fantastic local wines.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you and showing you the breathtaking beauty of Lake Garda. I completed my first winter season with Topflight last winter in France, it was just so amazing I want to do it all over again this summer! Lynsey Mackay
My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months in Andorra and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.
