The main town in the beautiful Ziller Valley, Mayrhofen has earned its place among the top ski and snowboard resorts in the world.
There are two main ski areas, the Penken and the Ahorn, and the Zillertaler SuperSki pass provides an endless choice of runs, including the Hintertux Glacier which provides high altitude skiing all year round.
Laughter and fun are guaranteed in the Tirolean resort of Mayrhofen – in January it hosts the annual Altitude comedy festival and in April it is home to the Snowbombing music festival (snowbombing.com)
But even without all that festival fun, Mayrhofen is a top notch resort that’s popular with confident intermediate skiers, snowboarders and families alike. I completed my first winter season with Topflight last winter in France, it was just so amazing I want to do it all over again! There’s definitely no shortage of stunning scenery or things to do! My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.

Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from Yorkshire. Austria is now my home and I have had the great privilege of living in the mountains for the last 16 years. I have worked for Topflight in most of their resorts and this winter I will be working as Admin support for our fantastic Austrian team and will be on duty on Saturdays at Salzburg airport.
