Bad Kleinkirchheim, on the edge of the stunning Nock Mountain National Park, offers a relaxed and less busy atmosphere compared to its nearby counterparts. As a town originally noted for its agriculture, Bad Kleinkirchheim has become just as well known for its fantastic ski opportunities in more recent years. Its sunny position, with access to both south and north facing slopes, means that it is a treat for skiers who can enjoy sunshine skiing throughout the day. The long, wide slopes are perfect for beginners and for those who enjoy some cruisey runs from the heights, all the way back into the town. The famed Olympic gold-winning downhill skier Franz Klammer, hails from Bad Kleinkirchheim. A highly celebrated character, he is still active on the slopes around BKK, so keep your eyes peeled!
With its roots in farming, it’s no surprise that the resort's hotels and restaurants pay special attention to offering great quality food, using the freshest ingredients, from local suppliers wherever possible. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.

Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from Yorkshire. Austria is now my home and I have had the great privilege of living in the mountains for the last 16 years. I have worked for Topflight in most of their resorts and this winter I will be working as Admin support for our fantastic Austrian team and will be on duty on Saturdays at Salzburg airport.
