The most recent addition to Méribel, Méribel Village combines old world style and modern design to allow for an idyllic and traditional setting, which boasts super easy and convenient access to the Three Valleys ski area. A charming and peaceful spot, it proves a popular destination for families with young children, and those seeking a more relaxed pace of ski life.
At the centre of the village lies the Golf chairlift, which whisks you away to a plethora of pistes, including the Altiport, one of the best beginner slopes in the Alps. More experienced skiers can also directly access the tricker pistes, and all levels can enjoy a leisurely ski back home via the easy Lapin blue run.
A picturesque and peaceful resort, with a welcoming atmosphere, you’ll find an array of traditionally styled chalets peppered throughout the resort as well as a small selection of amenities, including a bakery and a supermarket. The centre of the village is a suntrap during the day, and to complement this, you’ll find a lovely restaurant – complete with sun terrace – to help you take in your glorious surrounds while you enjoy a chocolat chaud.
For the 2016/17 ski season, Topflight are delighted to offer 2 wonderful chalet options, each accommodating up to 6 people. Both Chalet Violette and Chalet Lupin are situated in the heart of the Fermes de Méribel residence and offer doorstep skiing.
Although limited, après ski in Méribel Village is good for those who enjoy a more laid-back and cosy affair, while those craving more adventurous après ski activities can take advantage of the free shuttle bus to Méribel Centre, where a selection of buzzing après ski hot spots can be found.
After a day on the slopes, Topflight recommends a trip to the resort’s Deep Nature Spa, where you can indulge in an array of bespoke treatments. They even have treatments for children to help them unwind after a day of all out fun!

We don’t have any big mountains in Australia and not a lot of snow so I am lucky enough to come and work in the European Alps for the Winter. This will be my 5th ski season for Topflight & DirectSki, working in both Austria and France.
