Kirchberg itself is surrounded by several hamlets bedded into a rolling landscape which forms quite a contrast to the craggy peaks and sheer rock faces found in many other parts of Tyrol. There are few better places to be on a warm summers day than the Badesee Kirchberg in the Kitzbühel Alps. This pretty swimming lake offers a beautiful place to enjoy, for guests of all ages. The lake and the adjacent heated outdoor pool together cover a total of 13,000m squared, with water temperatures reaching a positively tropical 26 degrees in the summer. There is also a separate children's pool and plenty of spots to lounge by the waterside, taking in the beautiful surroundings. There are two slides here, a diving tower, a children's play area, a beach volleyball court, as well as rowing boats for hire.
With mountain biking an extremely popular activity in Kirchberg, there are many exciting trails and terraines on offer for visitors to challenge themselves with. Each trail varies in distance and difficulty, ensuring that there is something to suit every ability.
